SUN REACH 55 SOLAR POWERED
Fully autonomous recreational and charter catamaran
SUN REACH 55 Solar Powered is the flagship, fully autonomous recreational and charter catamaran that — during a standard three-hour cruise — runs exclusively on solar energy stored in HE3DA batteries with a capacity of 300 kWh.
This unique 16.7-meter vessel is the world’s only offering that provides complete independence from port infrastructure, making it the ideal choice for charter companies and individual clients seeking true freedom on the water with zero emissions. It represents the peak of technological innovation in the recreational yacht segment, combining the luxury of a five-star hotel with absolute energy autonomy.
SUN REACH 55 SOLAR POWERED:
100% Energy Autonomy
An advanced 10 kW photovoltaic system on the roof continuously charges the batteries, even while at anchor or underway, while a smart EMS (Energy Management System) optimally distributes power between propulsion, hotel systems, and air conditioning.
Two 30 kW electric motors ensure quiet, smooth propulsion, and in the event of extreme cloud cover, an 18 kW backup generator guarantees uninterrupted operation of all onboard systems. This configuration enables completely emission-free cruising all day long without any need for external power sources.
Luxury Afloat
Three spacious cabins — a master suite and two guest cabins — each with en suite bathrooms, deliver five-star hotel standards. The salon, featuring a designer bar island crafted from amber resin, is the perfect setting for family dinners and evening gatherings.
Wide sliding doors connect the salon to the aft helm, creating a unified living area, while fold-out side platforms transform any anchorage into a private beach. The flybridge, with an optional jacuzzi and bar island, offers the ultimate space for relaxation and panoramic views.
Advanced technology for safety
A comprehensive Raymarine Axiom XL navigation package — including autopilot, radar, sonar, and 16 IP cameras — ensures full situational awareness and operational safety for the captain.
The Quick Marine firefighting system, combined with automatic bilge pumps, provides protection against hazards, while the integrated ISMA® system allows for centralized control of energy, air conditioning, and lighting. Notably, the vessel is also prepared for future installation of a hydrogen Fuel Cell Range Extender, making it a future-proof investment aligned with the “Hydrogen Future of Sailing” promoted by the Polish Yachting Association.
