The Fast Patrol Boat PHS-P55 is the fastest and most advanced patrol vessel offered by Polski Żegluga Wodorowa (Polish Hydrogen Shipping), designed specifically for patrol, protection, and rescue missions on coastal and inland waters.
This impressive 17-meter vessel combines top operational performance with an innovative approach to eco-friendliness—offering a hybrid or hydrogen propulsion system in line with PŻW’s zero-emission strategy. Its Deep V-type aluminum hull delivers excellent handling even in heavy seas, while a triple propulsion system guarantees exceptional maneuverability and reliability in all operating conditions.

Revolutionary power and eco solutions
The heart of the vessel is a state-of-the-art propulsion system: three VOLVO-PENTA engines providing a total output of 2,310 kW (approx. 2,310 hp), paired with KaMeWa K36 water turbines. This configuration yields a remarkable maximum speed of 45 knots—while maintaining high fuel efficiency and an operational range of 400 nautical miles.
Following PŻW’s pro-ecological approach, the boat can be equipped with hybrid or hydrogen propulsion, dramatically reducing emissions and long-term operational costs. With a shallow draft of just 1.10 meters, the craft can operate in shallow waters, greatly expanding its potential applications.
Crew comfort as the key to mission effectiveness
The modern wheelhouse is designed to the highest ergonomic and safety standards, featuring panoramic glazing for excellent visibility and shock-absorbing seats that minimize crew fatigue during long patrols. Full air conditioning and a human-centered design guarantee comfort even in extreme weather.
The onboard rest area includes berths, a kitchenette, and a toilet, enabling long-term missions without the need to return to base. The ergonomic control layout allows for intuitive operation, even when wearing tactical gloves.

The hull and superstructure, constructed from lightweight layered panels, keep the vessel’s mass down to just 21 tons, resulting in better performance, lower fuel consumption, and rapid acceleration. The boat can be integrated with the ISMA® system for remote monitoring of all onboard systems and predictive maintenance.
Full operational equipment includes LED lighting, a thermal imaging system, an X-band marine radar, and advanced FLIR (Forward Looking Infrared) systems, ensuring 24/7 readiness.
