The Passenger Sun Reach 47 Solar Powered is a pioneering, fully electric Class A passenger catamaran that redefines the standards of zero-emission urban transport and premium tourism. This 14.5-meter vessel represents an excellent example of implementing the “Hydrogen Future of Navigation” strategy presented by PŻW, offering operators the opportunity to conduct business in full compliance with the strictest environmental standards.
Thanks to an advanced HE3DA battery system with a capacity of 200 kWh and 5 kW photovoltaic panels, the vessel can operate for many hours without the need to connect to land infrastructure, while ensuring the highest travel comfort for 50 passengers plus a 2-person crew.

Solar energy as the foundation of autonomy
The catamaran’s propulsion heart consists of two quiet electric motors with 50 kW each, providing smooth acceleration and virtually silent operation. The integrated photovoltaic panel system continuously recharges the battery bank, enabling completely emission-free cruises for up to three hours daily.
In case of adverse weather conditions or extended operations, energy security is guaranteed by an emergency generator with 18 kW power. The multihull construction made of marine aluminum using Anti-Destruction technology features exceptionally high rigidity and low weight, which significantly increases operational range and minimizes energy consumption.
Premium comfort for demanding passengers
The spacious air-conditioned salon with a 50,000 BTU/h system has been equipped with folding sofas, intelligent RGB lighting controlled by the ISMA® system, and panoramic glazing providing unforgettable visual experiences from the cruise.
Passenger infrastructure includes two full-size accessible restrooms, a kitchen with refrigerator and bar, and dozens of USB QC3.0 charging ports. The sunny terrace on the upper deck with additional speakers and RGB lighting creates an ideal space for relaxation and organizing special events.
Technology and safety in passenger service
The Raymarine Axiom XL 12″ navigation system with Evolution autopilot and a complete package of 8 IP cameras provide the captain with full control over the vessel and surroundings. An automatic fire suppression system in engine compartments and underwater LED lights significantly increase night navigation safety.
The advanced ISMA® system enables central control of lighting (with the ability to change colors and intensity), air conditioning, Fusion Apollo audio system, and monitoring of all tank levels. Optional equipment includes bulletproof glass and advanced Webasto systems for additional thermal comfort.
